How It All Started

2001 saw the inaugural 'Tour of the Bahamas' which is now an annual event organised by JAR Racing.  The 'Tour of the Bahamas' has become the major focus for Bahamian cycling.  The event follows the roads of New Providence touching the Southern and Northern coastlines, taking in the essence and beauty of the Bahamas.  The JAR Racing 'Tour of the Bahamas' is spread over three stages with something for everyone; sprints, hills, time trials and of course good old fashioned Bahamian hospitality.
